A presidential election is an extremely important process that our country takes seriously. Many people vote for their candidate based on their religion, sex, race, age, and even looks. Voting based on these qualities will not produce a great president, which will affect our nation as a whole. The leader of our country should be elected for his or her beliefs, integrity, values, governing philosophy, and their ability to lead a nation. Voting for a candidate is huge and should be taken extremely seriously by all U.S. citizens.
A president that I believe can lead our nation and has the majority of the qualities that would produce a good president, is Donald Trump. Donald Trump is a candidate for the Republican nomination for President of the United States in the 2016 election. I believe Trump would be a great leader for our country and would as said, “Make America Great Again.” Our country is full with many illegal immigrants and that is causing many problems within our country and Trump is big in stopping immigration. Also a big issue in today’s world is gunning laws. Some candidates such as Hillary Clinton believe taking these guns away from people and not allow people to buy them will help our country. The guns being used in mass shootings are not the guns being bought legally, but the guns in the black markets. Donald Trump is not going to stop letting people buy guns, if they pass the tests they should be allowed to buy these guns. Overall I agree with many of Trumps ideas and values.
The President of the United States is a huge, hard, and beyond important job. We need a president that will make the right decisions for our country and keep us moving along the right tracks. The 2016 president will be in office for 4 years at least, and that means they need to be chosen correctly and our citizens need to research before they make their final vote. Overall out of the president’s running for the 2016 election, Donald Trump will be the best as a leader for our nation. This year I hope all citizens eligible to vote should take time and figure out which president they agree should be our leader and make the right decisions for us as a free country. Voting based off of looks, religion, sex, or age is not the mature thing to do. At the end of this election, I hope our country has chosen the president that will make the best decisions for your country as a whole.
